BLOWING a 20-point advantage may be tough to swallow for the favored Cafe France. But the Bakers intend to move forward from that stunning first loss in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup Tuesday.
The Bakers certainly won’t take it easy when they take the floor against the winless AMA Online Education Titans at 2 p.m. at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
As Cafe France coach Egay Macaraya often reminded, no team should be taken for granted, especially after last week’s meltdown where the Bakers threw away a comfortable lead and bowed to Tanduay, 84-80, for their first loss in four games.
Racal mentor Caloy Garcia hopes his wards keep the same thing in mind when the Tile Masters take on another winless squad in Blustar Detergent at 4 p.m.
“We just have to come out with the same energy as we had,” said Garcia.
After two lopsided losses, the visiting Dragons put up a tight battle before bowing to league-leading Phoenix last week.
