UFC returns to Manila in October

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to return to Manila later this year.
The Octagon will once again grace the Mall of Asia Arena as the promotion stages the second UFC Fight Night Manila on October 15.
Fil-am bantamweight John Dodson, who is in the country to hype up the event, is happy to see UFC back in the Philippine shores.
“UFC is coming back and we need some more Filipino fighters,” he said.
Asked if he will be seeing action in the said event, Dodson could only say, “I hope so.”
Last year’s UFC Fight Night Manila saw the emotional retirement of Mark Munoz after he beat Luke Barnatt by unanimous decision.
The main event also saw Frankie Edgar clobber Urijah Faber in their featherweight duel.
