Caguioa sends out cryptic tweet: I’ll take heart over height anytime

It seems like even one of Ginebra’s leaders took exception with the selection process of the Gilas Pilipinas’ final lineup.
Mark Caguioa sent a cryptic tweet late Thursday night, seemingly pertaining to the final makeup of the national team which will wage war in the Fiba Olympic Qualifying Tournament here next week.
“I’ll take Heart over height anytime dapat pala palitan yung hashtag wag ng puso kundi #height,” he wrote on his Twitter account @officialmc47.
Caguioa’s teammate LA Tenorio and Alaska’s energizer bunny Calvin Abueva were the last two cuts from the pool as Gilas Pilipinas bared its 12-man roster for the OQT.
Abueva’s exclusion from the roster earned a lot of ire on social media. Reasons from the Gilas camp said the team opted for a taller lineup, leaving the 6-foot-2 forward as the odd man out.
