There will also be camps in Legazpi, Tuguegarao, and Biñan.

“I am very excited to do it again,” said Valdez. “We’re very happy that we can now expand our reach to more provincial venues where there are a lot of volleyball fans too.”

Joining Valdez as coaches are Denden Lazaro, Jem Ferrer, Ella de Jesus, Maddie Madayag, Therese Gaston, Johnvic De Guzman, Jaja Santiago, Jorelle Singh, Grethcel Soltones, and Joyce Palad.

“I’m looking forward to bonding with my fellow coaches while also sharing our knowledge of the sport to the participants.”

Registration to the camp is pegged at P2,000. Those interested can visit www.facebook.com/CrosscourtPH.

The camp will begin on August 6-7 at Badminton City in Manila, then will shift to Southwestern University in Cebu on August 13-14, then to Ateneo de Davao on August 20-21.

Ateneo de Iloilo will host the final leg of the two-day camps on August 27-28.

“Through this camp, we hope to get more young people into volleyball,” said Valdez. “Getting to mingle with our great coaches and learning from them, will be a wonderful way to introduce these kids to the sport we love.”
