Filipino shooters third in Greece Worlds

Team Philippines nailed two third-place finishes in a solid performance at the International Practical Shooting Confederation World Shoot XVI in Rhodes, Greece.

The four-man squad backed by Armscor also posted a fourth-place finish courtesy of shoot-off champion Jethro Dionisio, in the production division.

Alex Lao and Rosendo Castro finished third in the senior standard team event, while Grace Tamayo took the bronze in the lady production team event.

Frenchman Eric Grauffel, using the Tanfoglio Gold custom series made by Armscor, bagged the world title for the fifth time in a run that stretches back to 1999 when the event was held in Cebu.
