Japeth Aguilar’s fortunes went from good to bad faster than his Game 3 buzzer-beater.

After he posted 22 points, including the buzzer-beater that lifted the Gin Kings to a 97-96 win over San Miguel, Aguilar managed a paltry single point on 0-of-6 shooting in his team’s embarrassing Game 4 loss.

“I just want the offense to come to me, nung bandang third quarter, medyo nag-pilit na ako,” said Aguilar Sunday at Smart Araneta Coliseum. “We just want to move on.”

Aguilar’s lone point came in the third quarter from the free throw line in a game he’ll surely want to forget.

Ginebra’s lanky forward even failed to compensate for his horrible offensive night on the defensive end with June Mar Fajardo punishing him with 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Aguilar, though, is optimistic he’ll have a better outing on Tuesday in Game 5.

“For us to win, we have to play the best game of our life, all of us from the starting five all the way to the bench,” said Aguilar.
