PBA teams make Gilas selections; Belo goes to Blackwater

PBA teams have made their selection of players from the Gilas draft pool ahead of the 2016 PBA Rookie Draft on Sunday.
The teams agreed on a pre-determined order and went on to select at least one player for each franchise during the lengthy Board of Governors meeting Thursday at PBA Office in Libis.

The league did not divulge the order by which the players were selected but according to Inquirer’s Musong Castillo, Far Eastern U standout Mac Belo was chosen as the top pick by Blackwater Elite.
The official selections will be announced in alphabetical order of the teams before the regular PBA Rookie draft at Robinson’s Midtown in Manila.
