She also bagged the 1st Best Outside Spiker plum after leading Bureau of Customs to the Finals.

“I’m thankful and I’m really very blessed to win these awards,” said Valdez. “I would not have won awards if not for the support of my teammates and coaches naman so it goes back to them talaga for helping me get here.”

Meanwhile, Breanna Mackie of Pocari Sweat was feted as the Best Foreign Guest Player.

Other individual awardees include UST’s EJ Laure bagging the 2nd Best Outside Spiker, BaliPure’s Denden Lazaro claiming Best Libero, and Pocari Sweat’s Iris Tolenada named as the Best Setter.

Ria Meneses of UST was also hailed as the 1st Best Middle Blocker, Customs’ Lilet Mabbayad got 2nd Best Middle Blocker, and Michele Gumabao of Pocari Sweat took home the Best Opposite Spiker award.
