Melindo seeks IBF crown; Pagara eyes redemption

What he bungled twice before, Milan Melindo hopes to accomplish tonight when he battles Thai Fahlan Sakkreerin Jr. for the International Boxing Federation junior flyweight crown at Cebu Coliseum.

Melindo holds a 34 (12 knockouts)-2 slate and will be in for a slugfest against Sakkreerin (34 (16 KOs)-4-1 in the headliner of Pinoy Pride 39.

Also seeing action are Pagara brothers Jason (39-2, 24 KOs) and Albert (26-1, 18 KOs), who is coming off an eighth round KO defeat to Mexican Cesar Juarez last July 9.
