UP Pep Squad, Filipiniana Dance Group reap medals in Asian Cheerleading

The University of the Philippines Pep Squad teamed up with the UP Filipiniana Dance Group to bag the gold medal in the 2nd Asian Cheerleading Dancesport Championships held over the weekend in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Working together, they finished first in the Mixed Group Stunts and silver medals in the All-Female Team Cheer, Cheerdance Duo and Cheerdance Group categories, as per tinigplaridel.net.

They also won bronze medals in the All-Female Group Stunts and Mixed Team Cheer.

The team will represent the country in the 9th Cheerleading World Championships in Japan next year.
The UP Pep Squad skipped the UAAP Cheerdance Competition on Nov. 20.
