US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is expectant father

American swimmer Ryan Lochte received an early Christmas present this year: a baby in the making.
In a post on Instagram on Thursday, the 12-time Olympic medalist admitted he was on “cloud nine” after hearing the blissful news. “My Christmas gift came early this year, can’t wait for next year! Best news I’ve ever received,” he captioned his photo of him kissing fiancee Kayla Reid’s belly underwater.
Reid posted a similar snap on her Instagram account.”Just when you think you think you have it all figured out, life always surprises you with blessings when least expect it. So excited to share this news with all of you,” she said.

Lochte, 32, and his Playboy model girlfriend, 25, made their romance official during the Rio Olympics. “From the very first time I met her, everything has like clicked,’’ Lochte told USA Today in October. “That’s why I know I can propose to her because everything that’s happened and she’s been keeping me so positive. She doesn’t care about my fame. She doesn’t care about anything. All she cares about is me being happy.” The couple was engaged in October.
Lochte joined US reality show “Dancing with the Stars” with professional ballroom star Cheryl Burke but they were eliminated in November.
Lochte was doused in a stinging controversy when he and his fellow athletes lied about being robbed at gunpoint at a Rio gas station while during the Rio Olympics. Even though he made his mea culpa on air and was slapped with a 10-month suspension, four big-time sponsors scrapped their contracts with Lochte, including Speedo and Ralph Lauren.
