There’s no denying it, Phoenix has had the worst two-game swing in the early stages of the PBA Philippine Cup.

The Fuel Masters, 2-3, lost two straight games in a fashion where pride is hard to be found.

First it was Star who razed the Fuel Masters, 123-79, in the biggest margin this season and on Friday TNT had its turn and brushed off Phoenix, 117-98.

And veteran guard Cyrus Baguio said the team is tired of losing in humiliating fashion.

“It’s getting embarrassing, getting blown out in two games,” said Baguio, whose team lost by an average of 31.5 in its past two games, in Filipino.

“We’re playing like high schoolers out there, I hope we wake up from this.”

Phoenix got manhandled in the rebounding department with TNT taking a distinct 51-35 advantage, and to drive that point home the KaTropa had 33 defensive rebounds.

Depth was also an issue for the Fuel Masters with the TNT bench outscoring their bench by 30, 63-33.

TNT also took advantage of Phoenix’ sloppy ball movement scoring 27 points off turnovers.

“I don’t want to point fingers, I also made mistakes, almost every one of us contributed to the mistakes of the team,” said Baguio. “I think the players should talk this over.”

“We are now at fault here, because the coaches have done everything… We still have a chance, the problem is we don’t put in the effort, we lack the desire to play defense and just play.”
