Letran gets first win, keeps Mapua winless in NCAA volleyball

Letran kept Mapua’s winless skid alive in the NCAA Season 92 women’s volleyball tournament, taking a four-set victory, 22-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-13, Thursday at San Juan Arena.
Both teams haven’t won a single game prior to Thursday and it was the Lady Knights who chalked up their first as they improved to 1-5 while the Lady Cardinals reeled to a disastrous 0-7.

Letran enjoyed 44 free points from Mapua’s errors while scoring 42 off their own spikes and seven off service aces.
