PH volley coach: Acaylar or Vicente

The choice for the next national coach for women’s volleyball is now down to two names: Veteran coaches Sammy Acaylar and Francis Vicente.

The mentors sat down with Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas Inc. (LVPI) to present their programs for the national teams in tournaments slated this year including the Southeast Asian Games in August.

LVPI acting president Pete Cayco said they still have to present their recommendation to the board, which will make the formal announcement tomorrow.

Tryouts for the national teams will be announced by the appointed coach.
