Caguioa responds to Abueva’s cryptic comments
Mark Caguioa took exception to Calvin Abueva’s post-game comments.
The former PBA Most Valuable Player said in a tweet Wednesday: “Talagang malakas kami sa taas. Dahil dito sa Barangay namin malakas kaming mag Dasal.”
Abueva expressed his frustration following Alaska’s 108-97 defeat to Ginebra on Tuesday, as the second-seed Aces bowed out of the quarterfinals after squandering their twice-to-beat advantage.

In a cryptic comment, Abueva implied that the Kings “had help until the end.”
“Hanggang dulo, may kasama. Hindi natin alam kung sino, basta kami naglaro kami nang maayos,” the Alaska forward said as he hurriedly exited the venue.
“Syempre alam naman natin na malakas yung kalaban, malakas pati sa taas. Wala na tayong magagawa.”
Ginebra, meanwhile, advanced to the semifinals and will meet Star in a best-of-7 series starting today at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
