University of Santo Tomas crept into the Final Four picture after Adamson dealt University of the Philippines its ninth loss in the UAAP Season 79 men’s volleyball tournament Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The idle Growling Tigers have a 6-7 record and relied on the outcome of the match between the Falcons and the Fighting Maroons.

The Fighting Maroons slipped to 5-9 and with just one game remaining in both their and the Growling Tigers’ schedule, UST practically sealed the fourth seed in the tournament.
