BALIWAG — Playing for only two games for Alab Pilipinas, Kiefer Ravena is hopeful that his short stint did nothing but great things for the crew.

“I hope I was able to bring positive things to the team. It’s something where I learned a lot in the course of the week and a half that I was with the team. It’s just unfortunate that we fell short,” he said.

Ravena averaged 16.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in two games but both of those games ended in losses to the Singapore Slingers as Alab got swept in the 2017 ABL semifinals.

Though he enjoyed his brief stay with the Philippine squad, Ravena now gears up for another crack at the NBA D-League.

“I’ll rest up first and go back to the United States to continue working out in the NBA D-League,” he said.

The former Ateneo superstar also shared some of his plans before returning to the US including potential workouts with some PBA teams and practices with the national pool.

“Hopefully, I can practice with Gilas and meet some PBA teams before I go back to the States,” he said.
