San Miguel holds on, sends NLEX to ninth straight loss

San Miguel clinched the first playoffs spot in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup after holding off winless NLEX, 114-108, Friday at Cuneta Astrodome.

The Beermen are now at 6-1, the best record in the conference, while the same cannot be said for the lowly Road Warriors who are at 0-9.
