Cargo movers try to stretch win streak

/ 12:05 AM June 20, 2017

F2 Logistics attempts to sustain its winning streak against lowly Cherrylume as the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference resumes on Tuesday with another triple bill at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Cargo Movers have won two straight after a 0-2 start and are heavy favorites against the winless Iron Ladies, who are in a 0-4 rut. Match time is 5 p.m.

“Our goal is to be No. 1 in our group,” said F2 Logistics coach Ramil de Jesus, ruing the fact that his team, made up of players from reigning UAAP champion team La Salle, lacked intensity and hunger.

The knockout quarterfinals will pit No. 1 against No. 8, No. 2 against No. 7, No. 3 versus 6 and No. 4 versus No. 5.
