FC Meralco Manila tries to regain the top spot when it faces Ilocos United on Saturday even as Ceres Negros guns for a third straight win in the Philippines Football League.

Just a point behind leader JPV Marikina, the Sparks are favorites against a winless Ilocos side in the 4 p.m. kickoff at Quirino Stadium in Vigan.

The Busmen square off with Stallion Laguna for the second time in four days at Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City.

Ceres roared to a 5-1 win over the Laguna side last Wednesday when Spanish striker Fernando Rodriguez delivered a hat trick.
