PVL leaders part ways

League leaders Pocari Sweat and Creamline part ways when they collide Saturday to chase solo top spot in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

It’s going to be Alyssa Valdez’s last game for the Cool Smashers before the phenomenal spiker joins the national team for a two-week training camp in Japan.

Game time is at 4 p.m., followed by the 6:30 p.m. match between the Power Smashers and Perlas-BanKo at Filoil Flying V Centre.

Valdez’s absence is expected to affect Creamline’s campaign as she’s currently the league top scorer and the team’s heart and soul. —MARC ANTHONY REYES
