Creamline targets 5th straight

Creamline stakes its spotless record against a sputtering Power Smashers Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
The Cool Smashers will have to do that, though, without heart and soul Alyssa Valdez, who is with the national team training camp in Okayama, Japan.
At 4-0, Creamline can step closer to the next round with a win in the 4 p.m. clash against Power Smashers, which are slumping with a 1-3 record.
University of the Philippines will gun for a second straight victory when it goes up against Perlas BanKo in their 6 p.m. encounter.
Valdez will miss the next three games of Creamline which will have to rely on hitter Pau Soriano, setter Jia Morado and re-commissioned former star player Mary Jean Balse.
