Milwaukee Bucks point guard Matthew Dellavedova knows a thing or two about being a physical player.

Other NBA players and coaches once voted the 6-foot-4 point guard as the league’s dirtiest player, but it seems the gritty point guard found an even filthier style of play when he watched a couple of PBA games Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

“I think it’s a lot more physical here than the NBA,” said Dellavedova.

“I think I play hard but sometimes the NBA is not into the physical side compared to the international game where you have to fight through screens.”

PBA’s physicality was such a surprise for Dellavedova that what he saw during the games between NLEX and Kia, and Phoenix and Alaska made him reminisce his formative years in Australia.

“Growing up in Australia it was always physical and that’s how I play,” said Dellavedova.
