Cignal wins PVL men’s crown anew
Cignal seized its second straight championship after topping Mega Builders, 25-23, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Ysay Marasigan topscored for the HD Spikers with 17 points, including the title-clinching block on Fauzi Ismail.
Saku Capate added 16 points and was awarded as Finals MVP four days after being named conference MVP.

Ismail fired a game-high 21 points for the Volley Bolt, who forced the winner-take-all following a five-set victory on Wednesday in Game 2.
