Top female campaigners join pro-am
The ICTSI National Pro-Am Open gets more exciting following the entry of Pauline del Rosario, Chihiro Ikeda and Sarah Ababa, all winners on the ICTSI Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT), in the fold starting Tuesday at Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa City, Batangas.
Del Rosario, the first Filipino to win on the Taiwan Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and triple titlist in her rookie season on the LPGT, will team up with Annyka Cayabyab in the event which offers P360,000 to the top pro.
Ikeda, a Southeast Asian Games gold medalist, will partner with Quintin Singson while Ababa will be paired with Alrey Ceniza in the event organized by Pilipinas Golf Tournaments.
Other LPGT campaigners competing are Apple Fudolin, with Jimmy Dy; Eva Miñoza, with Mel Cubillo; Gretchen Villacencio, with Rene Policarpio; and Sheryl Villasencio, with Ikuko Kito. —ROY LUARCA
