Santos, Matias rule Sletba Open Senior Masters

Ed Santos of Pasig Bowling Association bagged the Senior Masters championship of the 21st Sletba Open on Friday night at Sta. Lucia Mall Bowling Center in Cainta, Rizal.

Santos scored 1,790 pinfalls in the 8-game series to thwart the valiant bid of Samuel Matias, a member of the Philippine paralympic team, who finished with 1759.

The other top finishers were Alfred Kang (SJCBA) with 1755, and Daboy Mendoza (Sletba) and Jack Interia (ATBA-Gruppo), both with 1730. —ABEL ULANDAY
