Former Olympian and fitness instructor Samantha Clayton has been around athletes for more than half of her life that she can spot who will succeed and who will fail from miles away.

“A true champion is dedicated to her sport, offers no excuses and will push his limits in order to succeed,” said Clayton, Herbalife Global senior director for sports performance and fitness.

“A true champion pushes forward, will learn from his mistakes and will always work to be the best ever.”
The 38-year-old Clayton was in the country last week as part of Herbalife’s global fitness tour.

Clayton is also focused on making the fitness revolution work.

“The key is movement,” said Clayton.

“People must fall in love with movement. Exercise doesn’t have to be hard or tough, depending on your personal goal. The key is regularity.”

As part of Clayton’s job at Herbalife, she has closely worked with the likes of football superstar Ronaldo and the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team, where David Beckham used to play.
“Their work ethics are very impressive,” said Clayton.

Clayton is married to former professional baseball player Royce, who last played for the Boston Red Sox and is now coaching high school students in California.

The Claytons have a 13-year-old son and a set of triplets.
