Generika out to bounce back from opening-day loss

Generika-Ayala tries to recover from an anemic first game as it faces Cocolife in the Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga Grand Prix on Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Action starts at 7 p.m. following the 4:15 p.m. match between Sta. Lucia Realty and rookie team Iriga City.

Generika-Ayala, with Katarina Pilepic of Croatia, Darlene Ramdin of Trinidad and Tobago and Penina Snuka of the US, bowed to the powerful Petron squad bannered by Hillary Hurley and Lindsay Stalzer and Japanese libero Yuri Fukuda, 25-13, 25-17, 25-19, on Saturday.

Generika-Ayala head coach Francis Vicente is also banking on local stars Gen Casugod, Fiola Ceballos, Kat Arado and team captain Angeli Araneta.
