Foton tries to snap F2 Logistics win streak

/ 05:25 AM November 25, 2017

The entire Foton team, not just its coach Moro Branislav, showed up just to see F2 Logistics play against Cignal last Tuesday.

For the outspoken Serbian coach, it’s better that the players see for themselves how the unbeaten league-leader plays ahead of their encounter on Saturday.

“We want to win this game because I believe that they are one of the biggest challenges in our goal of winning the title,” said Branislav.

Whether the effort would pay off will be seen when the back-to-back champion Tornadoes take on the Cargo Movers in the Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga Grand Prix at Batangas City Sports Center.

“This game will be very crucial, F2 Logistics has yet to lose,” said Branislav, adding that a win in the 6 p.m. match would serve as a strong statement to the league.

The match may decide which team takes the top ranking in the knockout phase that begins Dec. 5.

Petron, meanwhile, takes on Iriga City in the opener at 4 p.m.
