The NCAA’s most prolific coach of the 2000s is set to return to the bench, this time to a different shade of the red spectrum.

Frankie Lim, the architect of four San Beda titles in the first decade of the new millennium, is set to take over the head coaching duties for University of Perpetual Help.

Antonio Tamayo, the owner of University of Perpetual Help, appointed Lim as the head coach and replaced Nosa Omorogbe, who had to fly back to Nigeria to tend to family matters.

Lim was initially tapped as the person to oversee Perpetual’s basketball program but was then given the consultant role late in 2017.

And with Lim’s championship experience, getting no less than the school’s first title would be the goal during his tenure.

“It’s a process but that’s the goal,” said Lim.
