Troy Rosario avoids serious injury after scary fall
Troy Rosario showed no signs of serious injury after the TNT forward suffered a nasty fall in their game against Phoenix Wednesday at Mall of Asia Arena.
Rosario, though, suffered a wound on his chin that needed stitches.
“He’s okay. These are good signs, no fracture or dislocation,” said TNT coach Nash Racela in Filipino. “There’s a big wound, and the doctors will just observe him because he really fell hard.”
Rosario fell face first to the floor with just 24 seconds into the fourth quarter. He was stretched off the floor with a brace securing his neck and was rushed to Makati Medical Center for observation.
TNT lost Phoenix, 74-72, after Doug Kramer made the game-winner with seconds to spare.
