Blatche joins Gilas Pilipinas practice

Andray Blatche reunited with his Gilas Pilipinas teammates on Monday afternoon as he rejoined the team at the start of its daily trainings at West Greenhills Gym.
Blatche was the latest addition in the session as coach Chot Reyes had 12 locals present for practice.
Jayson Castro and June Mar Fajardo bannered the attendees, together with Gabe Norwood, Kevin Alas, Roger Pogoy, Jio Jalalon, Matthew Wright, Carl Bryan Cruz, and Kiefer Ravena.
Calvin Abueva also attended the session though, Reyes had already ruled him out of making the roster for the February window.
Japeth Aguilar was also present, but watched the session from the sidelines.
Big man Abu Tratter, a member of Reyes’ “23-for-23” cadet list, lent a hand in the practices.
The Philippines is preparing for the second window of the 2019 Fiba World Cup Asian qualifiers, where it faces powerhouse Australia on February 22 at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne before flying back home to take on Japan on February 25 at Mall of Asia Arena.
