Skippers stretch d-league streak

Marinerong Pilipino used a strong start to upend AMA Online Education, 109-93, and grab its third straight win in the 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup on Monday at Pasig Sports Center.

The Skippers started the game on a 7-0 spurt which ballooned to 36-16 at the end of the first period en route to their fourth win in six games.

Gab Banal captained for Marinerong Pilipino with 20 points and 14 rebounds.
