Iñigo Anton kicked off his autocross racing debut with a victory in the novice championship as the 2018 Autocross Series started at Meycauayan Commercial Complex in Bulacan.

The 13-year-old Anton, the youngest national slalom racing champion, blasted through the 1.8-kilometer stage in 57.01 seconds using the Mark Young-Mohspeed prepared Honda EF, claiming the Novice Best Time of the Day over Ryan Ablang (1:00.99) and Brian Ngo (1:01.13).

Even more impressive, Anton also registered the fourth fastest time of the day overall in the All-Honda class, clocking 55.83 seconds.
