Asian Games: PH volleyball team falls to Japan for 0-2 record

The Philippines fell to its second straight defeat in women’s volleyball, bowing to Japan, 25-12, 25-15, 25-21, in the 2018 Asian Games at GBK Volley Indoor venue in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Filipino volleybelles, who are playing in the continental meet for the first time in 36 years, remained winless in the preliminary round while the Japanese cruised to 2-0.

The Philippine team had rude welcome in the Asian Games last Sunday, getting a 25-22, 25-12, 25-15 pummeling in the hands of regional powerhouse Thailand.
