Tigresses, Lady Maroons eye finals slots
University of Santo Tomas and University of the Philippines shoot for finals slots on Saturday against teams just as capable to extend the semifinals series in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Yani Fernandez, UST’s assistant coach, knows Far Eastern University won’t hand them the Game 2 win “on a silver platter.”

“It would take some hard work to make it happen,” said Fernandez, referring to their 2 p.m. duel.
UP coach Godfrey Okumu also recognized the capability of Adamson to recover in their 4 p.m. match.
