AMA, CEU twin volley title duel Friday

By |

MANILA, Philippines—AMA Computer University and Centro Escolar dispute the men’s and women’s volleyball titles of the National Athletics Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (Naascu) Friday at the University of Manila Gym.

The Titans are looking for their second men’s title and their first after finishing runner-up to UM last year when they tangle with the CEU Scorpions at 1 p.m.

The “three-peat” winner Hawks took a leave of absence from volleyball competitions this year.

Intense action is also expected in the women’s title match at 2:30 p.m. which is a repeat of last year’s title clash.

Five-foot-9 hitter RJ Francisco and Ryan June Clarin will banner AMA against the Scorpions, who will lean on firebrands Jeffrey Gorospe and Glen Mark dela Cruz.
