Kobe Bryant sidelined with sore left shin
LOS ANGELES—Kobe Bryant, who missed his first game of the season on Saturday with a shin injury, will be checked by team doctors on Monday to determine when he can get back into the Los Angeles Lakers lineup.
Bryant is suffering from a condition called tenosynovitis which kept him out of the Lakers 125-105 loss to Phoenix, the Los Angeles Times reported on Sunday.
With Bryant sitting out with a sore left shin, Los Angeles suffered one of their worst losses of the season. The Lakers next game is Monday against New Orleans.
Bryant was kicked in the shin in a game last Saturday against New Orleans and was limping heavily in the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 112-107 loss on Friday to Houston.
