‘Bullang-Bullang’ fires off today

DRAWING support from 32 gamefowl breeders groups across the country, the NFGB Bullang Bullang 8-Bullstag Derby goes full blast today in four venues.
Multi-titled breeder Sonny Lagon will host the eliminations at Fantastic Coliseum in Laguna, Edsel Du at Limcua and Juanay Memorial Cockpit in Bohol and Jun Radaza at Octagon Coliseum in Butuan City.
All four pointers in the eliminations will share in the P1-million cash prize.
The total guaranteed prize is P10 million, said National Federation of Gamefowl Breeders executive director Arnel Anonuevo.
Eliminations are set on Apr. 16 at Texas Cockpit Arena and SBMA Complex and on Apr. 18 at San Jose Mega Cockpit, Arcontica Coliseum, San Pedro Coliseum and Guani Sports Center. On April 19, eliminations are slated at Vargas Sports Coliseum, Texas Arena, Marilao Coliseum and Tabora Sports Club.
Fights will be held in the following venues on Apr. 20: Iloilo Coliseum, Batac Cockpit, Santiago Cockpit and Malinao Arena.
