B-Meg rallies, routs Ginebra to earn PBA Finals slot

MANILA, Philippines—B-Meg shook off a horrendous start to blow out Ginebra, 108-84, Tuesday night and clinch the first Finals berth in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Import Denzel Bowles was unstoppable at the low block en route to 34 points to go along with 14 rebounds and six assists.

The Llamados trailed 11-25 at one point in the opening quarter before turning it around in the ensuing period where B-Meg outscored Ginebra by 19 points for a 58-46 advantage.

Defending champion Talk ‘N Text and Barako Bull will dispute the other Finals slot Wednesday night at the same venue.
