MANILA, Philippines—Import Denzel Bowles displayed nerves of steel down the stretch and handed B-Meg the 2012 PBA Commissioner’s Cup title with a 90-84 overtime triumph over Talk ’N Text in game seven Sunday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Bowles not only nailed two pressure-packed free throws to tie the game and forge OT with a second left in the clock, but he also scored all but two of the Llamados’ points in extra time.

B-Meg, which was stirred back to the finals by multi-titled head mentor Tim Cone, pounced on the absence of Talk ’N Text import Donnel Harvey, who fouled out with still three minutes left in regulation.

The Best Import of the Conference capped his stellar performance all-season long and finished with a game-high 39 points.
