AFTER sizing up the competition in the kickoff leg, the Castrol-Tuason Racing School Team tries to put up a stronger show in the second stop of the 2012 Philippine GT Championship Series this Sunday at the Clark International Speedway.
Multititled Mike Tuason heads the Castrol-TRS campaign as he guns for the GT300 crown in his Mazda RX-7 along with teammates Micky Kim and new recruit Ross Jackes.
Jackes, a pilot by profession, is one of the top products of last year’s TRS Ford Fiesta Cup where he wound up fourth overall. He will vie this time in the GT130 class in a Ford Focus 1800.
Tuason wound up 14th in the Sprint Race and was forced out early in the GT Main Race.
Kim finished seventh overall but emerged champion in the GT100 division aboard a Ford Fiesta.
