La Salle Zobel toys with Lyceum for first win at Filoil Preseason Cup

MANILA, Philippines – De La Salle Zobel toyed with hapless Lyceum, 113-27, Saturday in the 2012 FilOil Flying V Preseason Hanes Cup at the San Juan Arena.

The Junior Archers, who seized their first win, dominated from the get-go as their talent and size just overwhelmed the Junior Pirates.

Aleck Melecio led the onslaught with 20 points in 20 minutes.

Lyceum, rattled and overmatched, committed 50 turnovers as opposed to De La Salle’s 17.

The Junior Pirates staggered to their fourth setback in four games.
