Lady Stags target Shakey’s V-League playoff slot

Thai star Jeng Bualee aims to bring back her power game when San Sebastian guns for at least a semifinal playoffs versus a streaking Ateneo in the Shakey’s V-League today.
The Lady Stags—who closed out their elimination run with a surprising straight-set loss—need the crucial win against the Lady Eagles to boost their bid in the tight race for the remaining semifinal berths.
Game time is at 4 p.m. at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Far Eastern University and University of St. La Salle clash at 2 p.m., while National University and Adamson tangle at 6 p.m. in the pair of other quarterfinal matches.
Ateneo claimed the first Final Four berth with a leading 5-0 card, while the similarly unbeaten University of Santo Tomas (4-0) is also favored to advance.
The Lady Stags (2-1) will try to rebound from their unexpectedly east defeat to the Tigresses, 25-12, 25-10, 25-21 decision.
