Big Chill, C. Lhuillier duel for 2nd title slot today

Big Chill shoots for a first finals appearance when it clashes with Cebuana Lhuillier in the deciding game of their best-of-three semifinal series in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena.
The Superchargers are looking to carry the momentum of their 111-70 demolition of the Gems in the 2 p.m. duel which will determine the team that will face defending champion NLEX in a best-of-three series for the title.
“The swing of momentum is on our side and the team wants to take that as an opportunity to sustain what we did in our last game,” said Big Chill coach Robert Sison, after their resounding win in Game 2 that sent the series to a winner-take-all clash.
The Gems hope to turn things around, though, behind leading Most Valuable Player candidate Vic Manuel and Lester Alvarez, who couldn’t find their rhythm because of Big Chill’s stifling defense last Tuesday. Cedelf P. Tupas
