Bradley fight needed to make Pacquiao battle-ready
MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao has to be battle-ready and since Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather Jr. is still not possible, fight with undefeated Timothy Bradley is the next best thing, sports analyst Sev Sarmenta said over Radyo Inquirer 990AM.
“Pacquiao has fought and won over all the Mexican fighters and all the fighters in his category. In truth, this is the end of line for Pacquiao’s career. The people are only waiting for one fight and that is with Mayweather,” Sarmenta said.
“[But] Pacquiao has to have a fight at least every six months and Bradley is the best available fight as of now,” he said.
While Bradley is young, undefeated, muscular, Sarmenta said in terms of skill, experience, speed and power, Pacquiao has the edge.
