Bradley waits as Pacquiao gets ready

MANILA, Philippines – It looks like the audience at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas will have to wait a little bit more.

Manny Pacquiao, minutes before he was set to go up the ring, was unable to be found in his locker room while Timothy Bradley and his entourage were all ready to go out.

According to head trainer Freddie Roach in an interview with HBO, Pacquiao was still getting his calves stretched on a treadmill.

Apparently, Pacquiao – a huge Boston fan – waited for the Eastern Conference finals game seven between the Celtics and the Heat to finish.

As of posting time, Pacquiao is still in wraps and not wearing his gloves, but Bradley’s camp admits they’re okay with the waiting.

But the fight, though, remains on schedule despite the delay because the penultimate bout ended early.
