Fans believe Pacquiao will destroy Bradley in next fight

Filipino boxing idol Manny Pacquiao outpunches American Timothy Bradley Jr. (left) but still loses his WBO welterweight title at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a highly controversial and unpopular split decision. AFP

Supporters of Manny Pacquiao on Monday predicted he would “destroy” Timothy Bradley Jr. if their rematch should push through.

Parañaque Representative Roilo Golez said Pacquiao was still “a mean fighting machine” with at least three years of boxing ahead of him.

“A November rematch would be the biggest boxing event for 2012. With more focus, he should destroy Bradley the way Pacquiao demolished (Erik) Morales in their second  encounter,” Golez said.

Manila Representative Amado Bagatsing said Pacquiao, 33,  still had two years left of fighting before thinking of retirement.

He said Pacquiao’s newfound religious bent  should not be blamed for his loss. “He hasn’t lost his edge, it (religion) has no effect on fighting.”

Vice President Jejomar Binay expressed confidence the Sarangani legislator would win the planned rematch in November.

“If I know Congressman Manny, Bradley would be knocked out in their next fight,” Binay told reporters.

“Sometimes tragedies like this happen,” Binay said in Filipino. “But in the heart of every Filipino, ‘Congressman Manny, you were the real winner.’”

Binay added: “Manny has shown he has the true heart of a champion.”

President Benigno Aquino said in a text message: “I believe that Manny Pacquiao has been given an opportunity to reach even greater heights.”

Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said Mr. Aquino’s message was a “positive encouragement” to Pacquiao. Reports from Gil C. Cabacungan, Jerry E. Esplanada and Christine O. Avendaño

6 months from now, mas tatanda pa sya. ngayong todo na ang practise at mabagal pa ring gumalaw at sumontok, sa november lalong babagal pa. pacquiao is a best boxer about to be replaced… amen na manny, God’s will yan.

E diba siya ang nabugbug ng husto at kandaiyak pa sa pamamaga ng mukha nya? Mabuti pa sabihin nyo dyan magretire na at tulungan na lang makalabas kulungan patron nyang MAGNANAKAW na SI GMA!!

For the information of the worldwide boxing fan of the Bradley-Pacquiao, “in trust” ang panalo ni Bradley for Pacquiao.

Manny if you are part of the conspiracy remember God can’t be fooled! There will always be a lucky punch that will knock you down on the rematch. Best for you to RETIRE!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_GUDXSLGDJSVES3MAZKXXMXJXXM Ratzkey

Pacquiao had his chance to knock Bradley out but he couldn’t. And the guy had both feet injured. And you think Bradley will still injure himself next time around? If Pacquiao had no idea of any gamefixing in the fight then he is already “laos” because he could not knock the guy out, unless he was part of Arum’s plan then intentionally he made the fight look very close to go Bradley’s way and set up for a rematch. Which is which? Talking about a knockout in the rematch is pure bullsh_t!!!!

As a part of the adjustment to make it look like a close fight, Manny just relax on the last 3 rounds.

  • panaloangtotoo2

Are you one of those fooled by the Great Conspiracy? So obvious my dears! Review again the punches Manny delivered in round four onwards! Though they appeared very solid, they were not well placed and well extended! Manny was a big part of the Conspiracy! Despite the script, Bradley couldn’t at all deliver…it was Manny who adjusted to make the fight appeared as close-fight…but still on television Manny appeared really leading the rounds (he could in many instances knock-out Bradley but didn’t do it…again, the script!) yet because the script demanded that Bradley should win, the judges defended their grounds despite the non-congruence of the actions to the script!

I hope this tragedy will ignite the hungry factor in him which is quite missing in his last 3 fights. He is just contented to win on points and doesnt want to hurt anybody. The last 3 rounds against Bradley shows that Pacman thought he already have the fight in the bag which he paid dearly.
