YOKOHAMA-Castrol-Mark Young champion driver Carlos Anton captured his fourth consecutive win in another record-breaking fashion recently in the 2012 Circuit Showdown Series at the Clark International Speedway.
Anton, the 2011 Automobile Association of the Philippines Driver of the Year who bagged his sixth straight Hillclimb King plum last month, reset the short lap record to one minute and 5.003 seconds.
“The Mark Young-Hornitex prepared Honda CRX worked well today with the cool weather conditions and we were knocking on 1 minute, 4 seconds all day,” Anton said.
