Pacquiao wants rematch with Bradley

MANILA, Philippines – Manny Pacquiao said he wants a rematch with Timothy Bradley after the sanctioning body reviewed their controversial bout of June 9 and said the Filipino fighter should have been given the decision.

Pacquiao on Thursday said  he would prefer a rematch to Bradley giving up the WBO welterweight title which the American won on a split decision because “people may think I just usurped it.”

A panel of five judges were assembled by the WBO championship committee to review the June 9 bout and said it should have been awarded to Pacquiao. He said: “My supporters shouldn’t worry. We’re going to get that title.”

The WBO cannot overturn the result of the fight or force Bradley to surrender the belt, but can authorize a rematch.

The rematch that Pacquaio wants is pointless. The world already knows and recognizes him as the real winner of that fight vs Bradley, so what has Pacquiao got to prove? it should be Bradley who needs the rematch to prove that his win was no fluke; besides, Bradley has nothing to lose but everything to gain from a rematch.

In stead of training (again) for an Arum-brainchild of a November rematch, this is the right time for Pacquiao re-focus on his political responsibilities especially now that poor residents of Sarangani have been recently pummeled by Mother Nature and need the attention of their vagabond and wealthy Congressman.

Maybe I don’t read enough newspapers where I could have read the good news of a Pacquiao Library, elementary school, a clinic or a Pacquiao hospital, not to mention well-paved road around this poor district. Maybe, these projects are not in the Scriptures.

You want the rematch, we don’t. You won decisively. So what’s the rematch for?

Then Bradley should be so shamed to keep the belt! He must hand it back to manny if he is man enough to accept defeat!

“Pacquiao wants rematch with Bradley”…My opinion and advice is NO! Not at your disposal Manny!.This is not for the sake of Manny Pacquiao´s protection for his name as one of the greatest Boxers of the last decade, but to assure Manny, and his avid fans,”isa na ako doon” na hindi na muling mangyayari ang mga bagay na hindi kagustuhan ng lahat!
As i said before,a thorough investigation and a final official announcement should be worldwide declare that Manny was the winner and declaring that match “VOID”! Those who are responsible about this controversial event should pay BOTH PACQUIAO AND BRADLEY as a “COMPENSATION DAMAGE” being done to them! This is in fairness to Bradley Team.
There shall no such thing called as REMATCH if the last match had been proven as a product of robbery as it was stated in news all over the world.Instead a match that should mediate by WBO.If there is no more Bradley-Pacquiao match then Manny can go through Pacquiao-Mayweather match.
Since this is a “World Title” venues MUST NOT ALWAYS IN LAS VEGAS,NEVADA but instead, they can choose other countries like here in Europe! Wembley Stadion,London,UK is also a preferable venue.
I suggest that changes in Judges must be the best solution for changes and improvement so that to bring back TRUST of the people in boxing.Probably 5 judges and if it´s possible,THE NATIONALITY OF JUDGES MUST NOT BE THE SAME AS ANY OF COMPETING BOXERS…Just like in any world event like World Cup,referee and linesman are not the same nationality of both competing team…Just my 2 cents of opinion.

So Pacquiao won. It’s about time to whip the behind of Marquez. That’s going to be a more exciting fight. Gusto ko uling makita na nakatikangkang si Marquez at pagkatapos ay magsisisigaw na panalo pa rin siya. abnoy.
